(a) & (b) Yes, Sir. the EU shares India`s conviction that terrorism is a major threat to regional and international peace and security and constitute a serious violation of the rights of innocent individuals and of the integrity of states. The shared resolve of India and the EU to cooperate to prevent and combat terrorism and to meet the challenges arising from it in the regional and international context has been highlighted in the India-EU Summit Joint Declaration issued at Lisbon on 28th June, 2000. The EU has also agreed to strive with India for a Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism.
