(a) the total number of National Highways (NHs) passing through the State of Bihar;
(b) whether any four-lane NH has been constructed in the State and if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether there is any proposal for construction of new NHs in the State; and
(d) if so, the details and the present status thereof?

(a) There are 55 number of National Highways (NHs) passing through the State of Bihar.
(b) Yes, Sir. The details are at Annexure-I.
(c) & (d) Ministry hasdeclared 12 roads passing through Bihar in 2018 and 2019as new National Highwayson which preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) are in progress.
