(a): The Super Bazar has informed that the losses suffered by Super Bazar in 1998-99 and 1999-2000 respectively are Rs.706.80 lakhs (audited) and Rs.1643.50 lakhs approx. (unaudited).
(b) & (c) The irregularities relating to functioning of Ex-Chairman, Super Bazar have been referred to CBI for investigation and the investigation report of CBI is still awaited. However no period has been stipulated for completion of the investigation.
(d) The duties and functions of the Chairman of Super Bazar are as per clauses 24(g) and 28 of the Bye-laws of Super Bazar attached as per Annexure. Further, as per decision of the Board of Directors the Ex-Chairman of Super Bazar was provided with official car, rented Guest House cum residence, and honorarium @ Rs.25000/- per year (paid monthly @ Rs.2083.34). Further, the Chairman and also elected Members on the Board of Directors were entitled to receive Rs. 1000/- for attending each meeting of the Board of Directors.
