(a) the number of persons detained in each State during each of the last three years and
till date for prevention of unethical trade practices like hoarding and black marketing
under the Prevention of Blackmarketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential
Commodities Act, 1980, year-wise and State-wise; and
(b) the steps taken by the Union Government for the effective implementation of the
said law?
