(a) whether the Disinvestment Commission has recommended a minimum 51% disinvestment
of Cochin Shipyard Ltd. (CSL) and 100% privatization of Hindustan Shipyard Ltd. (HSL); and
(b) if so, the details of the recommendation made in this regard and the decision
of the Government thereon ?

(a) and (b) Yes, Sir. The Disinvestment Commission has recommended disinvestment of a
minimum of 51% in Cochin Shipyard Ltd. and disinvestment of entire shareholding of the
Government in Hindustan Shipyard Ltd. Government is yet to take a decision on the
recommendations of the Commission.
