MINISTER OF STATE (IC) FOR LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT
(SHRI SANTOSH KUMAR GANGWAR)
(a) & (b): The State Govt of Andhra Pradesh has proposed setting up of four new ESI hospitals at Kakinada, Vizianagaram, Penukonda and Tadepalligudem. The proposals relating to Kakinada, Vizianagaram and Penukonda have been referred back to State Government of Andhra Pradesh for giving its consent as per the prescribed proforma. The proposal relating to Tadepalligudem does not fulfill the criteria of minimum number of Insured Persons (IPs) required to set up a new ESI Hospital. The State Govt. of Telangana has proposed for setting up of one new hospital at Ramagundam. However, the proposal does not fulfill the criteria of minimum number of IPs required to set up new ESI Hospital.
