(a) & (b) Yes Madam. The National Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana (HRIDAY), a Central Sector scheme with a total outlay of Rs. 500 cr. launched on 21st January, 2015, aims at preserving and revitalizing the soul and unique character of 12 heritage cities in India and is being implemented as a Mission.
The Scheme supports development of core heritage linked civic infrastructure projects including revitalization of urban infrastructure around heritage, religious, cultural and tourist areas of the cities. The components include development of water supply, sanitation, drainage, waste management, approach roads, footpaths, street lights, tourist conveniences, underground electricity wiring, landscaping which is implemented in the 12 identified cities. The objectives of the scheme are being met successfully on execution of such development works.

No city from the state of Jharkhand has been included in the Scheme.
(d) As the mission period of the Scheme is only till March, 2019, no further cities are proposed to be included under the Scheme.
