(a): As per Basic Statistics on Animal Husbandry & Fisheries published by Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Animal Husbandry, the production of wool in the country during last three years was 46.05 m Kg. (2012-13), 47.91 m Kg. ( 2013-14), 48.14 m Kg, ( 2014-15) and 50.18 m Kg. is projected to be produced in 2015-16. The State-wise information is at Annexure.
(b): Funds released by Central Wool Development Board under Sheep & Wool Improvement Scheme in the country including Karnataka during the last three years and the current year, state-wise are as under:- (Rs. in lakh)

(d) & (e): No, Madam. Does not arise. Indian woolen goods are not considered to be of low quality in the international markets as the Exports of woolen textiles from India has shown an increase in US $ terms during the last three years. The Export data of the last three years are as under:-
