a)the number of beneficiaries in Delhi who have availed the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Street Vendor’s Atma Nirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) scheme and;
b)the details of the steps taken to include unregistered street vendors under the scheme;
c)the details of the amount of money lent by commercial banks since the launch of the scheme, State-wise; and
d)whether steps are being taken by the Government to increase the e-commerce among the street vendors and if so, the details thereof?
(a): As on 15.09.2020, the number of loan applications received, loans sanctioned and loans disbursed in Delhi under PM SVANidhi are 7,971; 1,014; and 77, respectively.
(b): The vendors left out of the identification survey conducted by Urban Local Body (ULB) may apply for Letter of Recommendation to the ULB through the PM SVANidhi Portal and then avail the benefit of loan under the Scheme.
(c): A statement giving state-wise details of amount disbursed by the Lending Institutions up to 15th September, 2020 is at Annexure.
(d): The PM SVANidhi provides for the States and Union Territories to prepare a roadmap for building up the capacities of street vendors to conduct e-Commerce and obtain necessary quality certifications from the concerned agencies like Food Safety and Standards Authority of India etc.
