Question : DELHI MILK SCHEME



(a) whether the Government is aware that some dealer of Delhi Milk Scheme (DMS), instead of selling milk of DMS sell and promote the sale of private companies as they are getting more commission from them;

(b) if so, the number of complaints received so far during the current year in this regard;

(c) the reasons for which DMS is continuing with such dealers; and

(d) the steps the Government propose to take to cancel the dealership of such dealer in view of their unlawful activities?

(a)to(d): Two complaints have been received recently about Delhi Milk Scheme depot holders selling other brands of milk in addition to DMS milk. One of them was not found to be correct. In case of other complaint, stern warning has been issued to the concerned depot holder not to repeat such irregularity in future.
