(a) whether the Government has extended any awards under National Service Scheme (NSS), Scouting and Guiding and National Cadet Corps (NCC) schemes;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the number of awards conferred under the said schemes during each of the last the last three years and the current year, scheme wise;
(c) whether the awardees are provided any Government appointments/job as per their qualifications to them;
(d) if so, the details thereof; and
(e) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) & (b) Yes, Madam. The details of the awards conferred under different schemes are as under:
(i) National Service Scheme (NSS)
In order to recognize outstanding contribution in community service and to encourage young NSS student volunteers to develop volunteerism and acquire positive social attitudes and values, the Indira Gandhi National Service Scheme (IG NSS) Awards are given under the following categories:

NSS Volunteers 30 Rs. 15,000/- each, a certificate and a silver medal from National Mint.In addition to the above, different States/Universities/Colleges also confer NSS awards for outstanding achievements.
