(a) the number of primary schools and upper primary schools constructed for minorities under PM''s 15-Points programme during the last three years and the current year; and

(b) the details of the fund allocated/ utilized for the scheme during the said period?

(a): Primary and upper primary schools have been constructed under PM’s 15-Point Programme in minority concentrated districts (where at least 25% of the total population belongs to minority communities) utilizing the funds of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA). The number of primary schools constructed in minority concentrated districts during 2012-13, 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16 (till 30.09.2015); is 176, 274, 235 and 30 respectively. The number of upper primary schools constructed during 2012-13 and 2013-14 was 98 and 39 respectively. During 2014-15 and 2015-16 (till 30.09.2015), the number of additional classrooms sanctioned under SSA for upper primary schools in minority concentrated districts is 6493 and 6053 respectively.

(b) The details of funds allocated and utilized under SSA for PM’s 15-Point Programme during the last three years and the current year are as under:-
