Answer given by the minister

MINISTER OF STATE (INDEPENDENT CHARGE) FOR MINISTRY OF PLANNING AND MINISTER OF STATE FOR MINISTRY OF URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND MINISTRY OF HOUSING & URBAN POVERTY ALLEVIATION

(RAO INDERJIT SINGH)

(a) No, the budget provision for current financial year under Central Assistance to State & UT Plans (CASP) is Rs.2,41,900 crore as against revised estimates of Rs.2,16,108 crore for financial year 2015-16.

(b) Does not arise.

(c) & (d) State-wise scheme-wise allocation of CASP for the financial year 2013-14 and 2014-15 is placed at Statement I & II, respectively. As the Planning Commission was replaced by NITI Aayog with effect from 1.1.2015 and allocation of CASP for finalization of Annual Plan of State/UTs is not a mandate of NITI Aayog, State-wise allocation of CASP is not available with NITI Aayog after financial year 2014-15. State-wise releases of CASP during 2015-16 as recorded in Public Financial Management System (PFMS), Office of the Controller General of Accounts (CGA), Ministry of Finance is placed at Statement III.
