Question : Impact of Integrated Wool Development Program

(a) whether the impact assessment of the Integrated Wool Development Program is underway;

(b) if so, the details thereof along with the manner in which this scheme has impacted marginalised groups such as SCs, STs, OBCs and low-income women, State/ UT-wise;

(c) if not, the time by which the Government plans to release the impact assessment report of this scheme; and

(d) whether the Government plans to include in this report the details of benefits delivered to SCs, STs, OBCs and low-income women and if so, the details thereof?

(a): The Outcome Review/Third Party Evaluation Study of ‘Integrated Wool Development Programme’ (IWDP) 2017-18 to 2019-20 of the Central Wool Development Board, Ministry of Textiles has already been completed.
(b) to (d): Under IWDP, there is no separate scheme for SC/ST/OBC and low income women. The schemes are implemented for overall development of wool sector and most of the schemes do not target individual beneficiaries. No targeted beneficiaries including SC/ST/OBC or lower income group were separately evaluated during impact study of IWDP schemes.
