(a) whether banks provide soft loans on soft terms to. the general public ;
(b) if so, the details thereof ;
(c) whether some banks particularly ICICI Bank do not provide such loans
to some sections of the society; and
(d) if so. the details thereof alongwith reasons therefor ?

(a)&(b) Banks frame their own loan policies keeping in view the guidelines
on Risk Management and Risk Exposure and other prudential norms
prescribed by Reserve Bank of India.
(c) No such instance has been brought to the notice of the Government.
(d) Does not arise.
