(a) NavodayaVidyalaya Scheme envisages opening of oneJawaharNavodayaVidyalaya (JNV) in each district of the country. All the districts of the country (as on 31.5.2014) have been covered under the scheme, except the districts of Tamil Nadu, as the State has not yet accepted the scheme.
