Question : RESERVATION IN CORPORATE SECTOR

(a) whether the Government is considering measures to introduce reservation for weaker sections of the society in the corporate sector;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether the Government is also considering to provide incentive to companies employing people from the local community and/or weaker sections of the society; and

(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (d) Ministry of Corporate Affairs’ mandate is to administer the Companies Act, 1956 which provides for incorporation, management and winding up of companies. It does not deal with the employment in the Corporate Sector.
