Question : SPECIAL TRAINS

(a) whether the Railways operate special trains on the occasions of festivals and other peak seasons to accommodate the extra rush of passengers;  

(b) if so, the details thereof for the last three years, year and route-wise;  

(c) whether in view of the huge success of non-stop trains introduced on the occasions of Christmas and New Year on Delhi-Mumbai route the Railways propose to introduce similar trains on certain other routes during such peak seasons;  

(d) if so, the details thereof along with the routes identified for the purpose;and  

(e) the details of revenue generated as a result thereof during the said period, routewise including Delhi-Mumbai route?
