(a) the works accomplished so far by the Uttar Pradesh Setu Nigam on
Belsa Crossing (Level crossing No.29A) on Azamgarh-Sarai Rani rail
route for which Rs.50 lakh has been released during 2006-07;
(b) the amount likely to be spent on the overbridge over Belsa
crossing near Azamgarh alongwith the amount earmarked for the next
year; and
(c) the steps being taken for initiating the construction works and
to ensure their timely completion?

(a) Alignment plan has been finalized. Profile sketch has been sent
to State Government for submitting combined General Arrangement
Drawing (GAD).
(b) The work estimated to cost Rs.602.79 lakh each to Railway and
State Government. An outlay of Rs.15 lakh has been proposed during
2007-08.
(c) All out efforts will be made to complete work in time after GAD
is approved and Detailed (Combined) Estimate is sanctioned
