Will the Minister of SOCIAL JUSTICE AND EMPOWERMENT be pleased to state:
(a) the details of pre-matric scholarships provided to students belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBCs) category during the last three years in Uttar Pradesh, district-wise;
(b) whether the Government is considering to increase the amount of scholarship for these students; and
(c) if so, the details thereof?
(a): Under the Pre-Matric Scholarship scheme for OBC students, the Ministry releases funds to State Government of Uttar Pradesh not to the districts. The details of funds allocated, released and beneficiaries covered under the scheme in the State of Uttar Pradesh for the last three years is as under:
