Question : Dairy Processing and Infrastructure Development Fund

a) the number of villages where milk producers are being benefitted by Dairy Processing and Infrastructure Development Fund (DPIDF), State-wise including Bijnaur Parliamentary Constituency;
(b) the amount spent and utilized to double the income of dairy farmers out of the first instalment of Rs. 440 crores provided to National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) under DPIDF along with the number of farmers benefitted, State/district-wise;
(c) the details of financial assistance provided or being provided as loan to dairy institutions under the scheme, State/district-wise; and
(d) the percentage of interest subsidy being provided by the Government under the scheme?

(a) 44217 villages are being benefitted under Dairy processing and Infrastructure Development Fund (DIDF). State-wise number of villages’ covered/ being covered under DIDF is at Annexure-I. No proposal has been received from Uttar Pradesh under DIDF; hence, Bijnaur Lok Sabha constituency is not covered under the scheme.

(b) The First Installment of Rs 440 crore as loan received by National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) under DIDF for onward disbursements. State-wise loan disbursed by NDDB to End Borrower (EB) and number of farmers benefitted through DIDF Scheme is given at Annexure I.

(c) The State-wise loan disbursed to End Borrower (EB) under DIDF as on 22.03.2022 is at Annexure-II.

(d) Government of India is providing interest subvention at the rate of 2.5% p.a.under DIDF scheme
