Question : DEVELOPMENT OF CALICUT AIRPORT

(a) whether the Government are aware that development works viz. extension of runway from 7,500 to 9,000 feet at the Calicut Airport is very slow this year in comparision to the last year;

(b) whether the Government are also aware the Airports Authority of India is not complying with the terms and conditions of the memorandum of understanding;

(c) if so, the reasons therefor; and

(d) the steps being is taken in the matter?
