(a) whether a joint study report conducted on `Operational Efficiency
of National Highways (NHs) for freight transportation in India` reveals
an annual loss of Rs. 87,000 crores to the Indian Economy due to delay at
Toll Plazas and Check Posts;
(b) if so, whether the Government has formulated any guidelines to
arrest this loss on account of such delays;
(c) if so, the details thereof and the time by which these guidelines
are likely to be implemented; and
(d) the number of such BOT projects that have been transferred back
to the Government so far?
