(a) whether the Union Government is aware that cases of court
martial are increasing in the defence forces;
(b) if so, the number of higher officials of defence services
against whom court martial proceedings were initiated during
each of the last three years and current year; and
(c) the details of the punishment inflicted on them?

(a) There has been no increase in cases of Courts Martial in the
defence forces.
(b) Number of higher officials (Brigadier/equivalent and
above) court-martialled during each of the last three years
and the current year is as under:-
