(a) whether the Government has received any proposals from the State Government of
Uttar Pradesh for development/strengthening of roads in various districts of the
State including roads in Barabanki-Dewan district, roads in Gautambudh Nagar and
Bulandshahr districts as well as Saharanpur-Badgaon, Saharanpur-Hathini kund barrage
road in Saharanpur districts;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the action taken by the Government on these proposals?

(a) to (c) : During 2012-13, sixty seven proposals amounting to Rs. 1866 crore have been
received from the Government of Uttar Pradesh for improvement of State roads under Central
Road Fund (CRF). None of the proposal, however, is from the districts of Barabanki, Gautambudh
Nagar, Bulandshahr and Saharanpur. Due to zero sanction limit under CRF for Uttar Pradesh, no
proposal could be considered for sanction during 2012-13.
