Answer given by the minister

MINISTER OF STATE FOR SMALL SCALE INDUSTRIES AND DEVELOPMENT OF NORTH-EASTERN REGION (SHRI TAPAN SIKDAR)

(a) & (b): The Office of Director General Supplies & Disposal (DGS&D) does not maintain separate record for complaints regarding non-implementation of Small Scale Industries (SSIs) reservation policy in procurement and other benefits of registration, purchase preference, price preference, tender form availability etc.

(c) to (g): Representations received in the Ministry from SSI units or Industry Associations about violation of the Policy under reference are taken up with the concerned Government Departments/ Public Sector Undertakings and Other organizations for redressal. While it is our endeavour to take up such matters with the concerned organizations including DGS&D with due promptness, no fixed time frame has been followed for their disposal since the outcome depends on the nature and facts of each representation.
