Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:
(a) the details of the funds allotted for National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP), State-wise in the past three years including the current year;
(b) the details of funds utilised by such States in past three years; and
(c) the details of NGO’s Societies which have been granted funds under NTCP programme during the last three years and the current year?

(a) & (b): The funds are approved activity-wise but are allocated/released to States pool-wise under NHM. Hence, a statement indicating SPIP (State Programme Implementation Plan) Approval & State-Wise Expenditure towards the activity –Tobacco Control under NHM during the past three years including the current year i.e. 2015-16; 2016-17; and 2017-18 is enclosed at Annexure-I. Approvals are given on higher side to improve the absorption capacity of the States.
(c): The details of NGOs which have been granted funds under NTCP during 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17 & 2017-18 are enclosed at Annexure-1I.
