(a) to (c) The Constitution of India has been amended, making education for all children
in the 6-14 age group a fundamental right under Article 21-A. The enabling legislation
to enforce this right has not yet been finalised. There is, at present, no proposal to
make education a fundamental right up to intermediate level.
