(a) & (c): A decision to set up a National Multi Commodity Exchange has been taken in principle. Accordingly a three member Core-Group presided by the Chairman, Forward Markets Commission has been constituted to examine the details relating to setting up the National Multi Commodity Exchange. No time frame for setting up the National Multi Commodities Exchange can be specified as of now.
