Question : COMMISSION FOR EDUCATION TO TRIBALS

(a) whether the Government proposes to set up a National Commission for the Development of Tribal Education in order to look after the education related affairs of the Scheduled Tribes with special reference to the education of tribals in their respective vernacular languages including technological as well as medical and management related education;

(b) If so, the details thereof;

(c) the time by which the said Commission is likely to be set up; and

(d) If not, the reasons therefor?

(b) & (c): Does not arise in view of (a) above.

(d):There are Schemes/Programmes along with institutional arrangement to meet education requirements including that of tribal people in the State/UT Governments and Central Government.
