(a) The National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC), a Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the administrative control of Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities has taken various initiatives for self-employment and promotion of economic development activities for the benefit of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). It includes concessional lending schemes, skill trainings, job connect and marketing support.
(b) The funds utilized and the number of Persons with Disabilities benefitted State-wise under NHFDC schemes for the purpose of extending concessional funds is at Annexure-I.
