Question : AGE OF SUPERANNUATION FOR LECTURERS IN DELHI UNIVERSITY

(a) whether the age of superannuation for Lecturers/Readers/Professors in Delhi University has been increased from 62 years to 65 years;

(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor; and

(c) the number of aforesaid categories of teaching staff that have attained superannuation at the age of 65 years in 2001?

(a): No, Sir. The University of Delhi has informed that the age of superannuation of Lecturers/Readers/Professors in the University is 62 years.
