(a) the location-wise Regional Passport Offices in various States and Union Territories of India;
(b) whether the Government has any plan to extend Regional Passport Offices at each Divisional Headquarters/or to establish new passport service centres; and
(c) if so, the time by which it is likely to be implemented along with the details thereof?

(a) A list indicating location–wise 37 Regional Passport Offices and 77 Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) under them, in various States and Union Territories of India, is enclosed (Annexure –I).
(b) & (c) There is no plan at present to set up any Passport Office at Divisional Headquarters. However, a list of 18 more functional/upcoming PSKs in the country along with their status, is enclosed (Annexure –II).
