(a) to (d): Ministry of Textiles has trained 11.14 Lakh persons under Integrated Skill Development Scheme (ISDS) in textiles sector during the period from 2010-11 to 2017-18, at a total cost of Rs. 963 crore approximately.
The outcome of the ISDS is as follows:

Further, in order to meet the skill gap in the industry, Ministry of Textiles is currently implementing Samarth- Scheme for Capacity Building in Textile Sector with the objective to provide demand driven, placement oriented National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) compliant skilling programmes to incentivize and supplement the efforts of the industry in creating jobs in the organized textile and related sectors, covering the entire value chain of textiles, excluding Spinning and Weaving.
State Governments have been allocated an in-principle training target of 3.6 lakh beneficiaries for conducting training programme in traditional and organized sectors. Sectoral Organizations of Ministry (DC-Handlooms, DC-Handicrafts, Central Silk Board & National Jute Board) have been allocated a training target of 43,020 beneficiaries for skilling/up-skilling in traditional sectors. Upon evaluation of the proposals and physical verification of training centres, total 76 industries/ industry associations have been empanelled and allocated a training target of 1.36 lakh beneficiaries for entry level skilling and 44 industry/industry associations have been empanelled and allocated a training target of 30,326 beneficiaries for undertaking up-skilling/re-skilling. In addition, a training target of 34,572 has been allocated for Industry Associations working with MSME textile industry.
The above skill development activities are demand driven, employment generation programmes enabling both direct jobs of the beneficiaries in organised sector as well self-employment generation in traditional segments such as handloom, handicraft, silk and jute.
