(a) whether the Government have accepted the proposal for regularisation of all pre-1961 encroachments in Andaman and Nicobar Islands without any ceiling and without any premium; and
(b) if so, the total number of persons likely to be benefited by the total area of the land involved therein?

(a) & (b): The proposal received from the Andaman and Nicobar Administration for regularization of the excess area of land in possession of various individuals and organizations in Port Blair Municipal area as per 1961 survey is under consideration of the Government.
