(a) whether the Government has received any representations from public representatives regarding allotment of land at Railway Yard on long lease basis to CONCOR for setting up an Inland Container Depot at Rajkot in public interest;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the action taken in the matter so far; and
(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (c): Yes, Sir. One representation has been received recently from one Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) for earmarking the Railway land to set up an Inland Container Depot (ICD) by CONCOR at Rajkot. However, no formal request has been received from Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) in this regard.
