(a) whether there is widespread dissatisfaction in the functioning of CGHS Schemes;
(b) whether the Government propose to decentralize or revamp the said scheme;
(c) if so, the reasons therefore;
(d) whether the Government propose to introduce Group Insurance Scheme or authorize private hospitals to render all medical services including issue of medicines/hospitalization; and
(e) if so, the details thereof?

(a) No, Sir.
(b)&(c) There is no proposal under consideration of the Government to decentralise the scheme. However, improvement in CGH Scheme is a continuous process and efforts are made from time to time to revamp the scheme.
(d) There is no such proposal under consideration of the Government.
(e) In view of (d) above the question does not arise.
