(a),(b) and (c):- The Airport at Visakhapatnam belongs to
Indian Navy and is suitable for fair weather operations only
due to hilly terrain in the vicinity. At present, Indian
Airlines is operating a four times weekly service connecting
Delhi - Bhubaneshwar - Vizag - Chennai and Vice Versa. A
daily service connecting Mumbai - Hyderabad - Vizag and vice
versa and a twice weekly service connecting Chennai - Vizag
- Kolkatta and vice versa are also being operated by Indian
Airlines. However, any airline is free to operate to any
route and connect any place as per its commercial judgement
subject to compliance with the Route Dispersal Guidelines.
