Question : Disinvestment-Privatization of Pawan Hans Limited

(a) whether the Government has extended the last date for submission of Expression of Interest (EoI) for “Strategic Disinvestment of Pawan Hans Limited” recently;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether the Government proposes for disinvestment of any such Public Sector Undertaking under the Civil Aviation Ministry, if so, the details thereof;

(d) whether the Government has made any consultation with the workers and staff of the company to ease out their grievances and if so, the details thereof; and

(e) the action taken so far relating to the privatization of Pawan Hans Limited?

(a) to (e): The last date for submission of Expression of Interest (EoI) for strategic disinvestment of Pawan Hans Limited (PHL) was 8th December, 2017 which was extended upto 15th December, 2017. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has given ''in-principle'' approval for strategic disinvestment of Air India (AI) and its five subsidiaries. Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) has appointed Transaction Advisor (TA) and Legal Advisor (LA) for strategic disinvestment of PHL.
