(a) whether Railways has any plan to construct road over bridge at Tiruvellur (LC-18)
during the current year;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) if not, the reasons therefor; and
(d) the steps taken/being taken for construction of the said bridge ?

(a) to (d) A Road Over Bridge (ROB) on cost sharing basis at Tiruvellur (LC-18) was
sanctioned in the year 1999-2000. The cost of ROB is Rs. 11.36 cr. with Railway`s
share as Rs. 5.69Cr. The progress of works in Railway portion is 40%. The State
Government is yet to start work on approaches.
