(a) Whether it is a fact that Government of India nominates Officers/Staff Members for
training to the reputed Foreign Institutions for improving their academic, managerial and
administrative and technical capabilities at the cost of the public exchequer;
(b) if so, furnish the year-wise total number of Officers/Staff Members of Ministry including
those from Autonomous, Statutory, Subordinate and Attached Officers thereof sent abroad for
both the short term and long term training courses abroad during the last three years;
(c) the number of Officers belonging to the SC/ST category among such officers sent abroad for
the said training abroad; and
(d) the adequate number of SCs/STs Officers have not been nominated for the said training?
