Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:
(a) whether it is proposed to implement Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Odisha as it has been implemented by all the State Governments but the Government of Odisha is not implementing it;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the number of people likely to be benefitted under the said scheme in Odisha?

(a)& (b): The State Government of Odisha has not signed Memorandum of Understanding for implementation of Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY).
So far the scheme has not been implemented in the States of Odisha, Telangana and Union Territory of Delhi, whereas West Bengal has withdrawn from the scheme in January 2019. The Government has been requesting these States/UT including Odisha to join the scheme.
(c): The total number of eligible beneficiaries families under AB-PMJAY in Odisha is 61.93 Lakh as per Socio- Economic Caste Census data.
