(a) to (e) The Government of India has made all arrangements to secure COVID-19 vaccines in sufficient quantity for the eligible beneficiaries as recommended by the National Expert group on Vaccine administration for Covid-19 (NEGVAC). Government of India has been providing free supply of COVID-19 vaccines in sufficient quantity to States/UTs, including Kerala, for administration to population aged 18 years and above.

A total of 3,85,20,940 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been supplied to Kerala under free supply from Government of India since inception of vaccination program till 6th December 2021 and 8,47,345 doses are available with the State.

Government of India has ensured improved accessibility of safe COVID-19 vaccination services for all eligible beneficiaries irrespective of their socio-economic status which also includes students and migrants. This has been done through increase in vaccination centres, citizen friendly upgradation of Co-WIN platform, establishment of 24x7 national call center helpline to address queries from general public on COVID-19 and the vaccination process.

National COVID-19 Vaccination Programme, also facilitates vaccination of persons without prescribed identity cards such as migrants, seers, nomads, refugees etc. through special sessions where 100% vaccination is done through on-site registration by the vaccinator.

As on 6th December 2021, more than 51% of the adult population in the country has received second dose of COVID-19 vaccine. To further improve the uptake of 2nd dose of COVID-19 vaccine, Government of India has launched ‘Har Ghar Dastak Abhiyaan’ from 3rd November 2021 wherein missed beneficiaries for 1st dose and due beneficiaries for 2nd dose are identified and vaccinated through house to house activity. Under this campaign vaccine is also administered to the beneficiaries at their homes.
