STATEMENT REFERRED TO IN REPLY TO PARTS (a) TO (d) OF UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 2014 BY SHRI RAMDAS C. TADAS TO BE ANSWERED IN LOK SABHA ON 03.07.2019 REGARDING CONSTRUCTION OF ROBs
(a) & (b): Yes, Sir. As per Pink Book, total of 1571 Road over Bridges (ROBs) are sanctioned. During the last three years (2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19) 575 ROBs have been sanctioned in Pink Book.
(c) & (d): In last three years (2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19), 65 ROBs has been sanctioned in the State of Maharashtra and 12 ROBs has been sanctioned in the State of Rajasthan. Out of these, 3 ROBs in the State of Maharashtra have been completed. Remaining works for construction of ROBs in both the States are at various stages of planning, estimation and execution.
