Question : Liver Donation

Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:

(a) whether All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has launched any live donor liver scheme for the poor liver patients of the country;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether there is any plan to set up a different centre in AIIMS (Delhi) for the diseases related to liver failure; and

(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b): No.
(c) & (d): As of now, there is no plan to set up exclusive centre for liver failure in AIIMS, New Delhi.
