(a) the total number of BR Ambedkar Chairs sanctioned and established by the BR Ambedkar Foundation across the country during each of the last three years, State-wise;
(b) whether the BR Ambedkar Foundation has approved any proposal for establishment of BR Ambedkar chairs at Universities across the country in the current year;
(c) if so, the details thereof;
(d) whether there has been delay in establishment of the same; and
(e) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor?

(a)Twenty One Dr. Ambedkar Chairs have been set up by the Dr. Ambedkar Foundation (DAF) in various Universities/Institutes across the country till now. The State and year wise details of the chairs are at Annexure. However, no chair has been established by the DAF during the last three years.
(b) & (c) Yes, Madam. The Dr. Ambedkar Foundation has sanctioned eleven Dr. Ambedkar Chairs at different Universities/Institutes across the country during the current year. The State-wise details of the Chairs are at Annexure.
(d) No, Madam.
(e) Does not arise.
