MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF CHEMICALS & FERTILIZERS (SHRI HANSRAJ GANGARAM AHIR)
(a): There are nine Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) under the administrative control of the Department of Fertilizers. Out of these PSUs, all units of the two PSUs namely Fertilizers Corporation of India Limited (FCIL) and Hindustan Fertilizers Corporation Limited (HFCL) are closed. Two PSUs namely FCI Aravali Gypsum and Minerals India Ltd. (FAGMIL) and Projects and Deve- lopment India Limited (PDIL) do not produce any ferti- lizers as FAGMIL is engaged in the mining of Gypsum while PDIL is an engineering & Consultancy organization. Details about the dealers of the rest of the five PSUs are as under:

(b) & (c): Distribution of fertilizers- among the dealers is not done on the basis of the category of the dealers. However, as the number of SC/ST dealers are less as compared to the general category dealers. Hence the totai off take of ferti- lizers by SC/ST dealers is less as compared to general category.
(d): Undertaking-wise details on the quantity of fertilizers given to the dealers belonging to general category and Sche- duled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes, during the financial year i.e. 2013-14 are given below:
