Question : Cancellation of Common Entrance Examination

(a) whether the Government has assessed the impact of suspending recruitment rallies and cancellation of Common Entrance Examination (CEE) in the recruiting year 2020-2021 and 2021-2022, particularly on candidates who would be ineligible for recruitment in the Army due to the age criteria under the Agnipath scheme;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) the details of the recruitment rallies planned and conducted by Army Recruiting Offices (AROs)/Zonal Recruiting Offices (ZNOs) in the recruiting year 2020- 2021 and 2021-2022, State/UT-wise;

(d) the total number of students who participated in the recruitment rallies and qualified for the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) during the said period;

(e) the number of candidates who were unable to take the CEE due to the suspension of the examination, State/UT-wise; and

(f) whether the Government proposes to relax the age criteria for candidates who are ineligible to apply for army recruitment due to the cancellation of the CEE and if so, the details thereof?
