THE MINISTER OF STATE (INDEPENDENT CHARGE) IN THE MINISTRY OF SMALL SCALE INDUSTRIES AND AGRO AND RURAL INDUSTRIES (SMT. VASUNDHARA RAJE)

(a) & (b): No, Sir.

(c): Under the Integrated Infrastructural Development (IID) Scheme, the State Government/UT concerned is required to first select a suitable site in rural/backward areas, firm up a project proposal and get the project proposal appraised by Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) to ascertain the techno-economic viability of the project. The recommendations of the SIDBI on the proposal are then considered by the Government for sanction of the projects. The provisions of the IID Scheme have been brought to the notice of the State Governments/UTs including Bihar, from time to time through communications addressed to them, press, advertisements and meetings with the officials etc.
