(a) whether the Government proposes to formulate a National Rubber Policy;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government has solicited the opinion/suggestions and held consultations with the various stakeholders for providing inputs for the said policy;
(d) if so, the details thereof; and
(e) the present status of the policy along with the time by which the said policy is likely to be formulated?

a)to e): Based on inputs received from various quarters, the Government has set up an Expert Committee consisting of representatives of various stakeholders in the Rubber Sector to examine the relevant issues and recommend a National Policy on Rubber. The Committee has the mandate to furnish the Report as early as possible.
